Dermafile Diamond Exfoliation
Zen Body & Skin is excited to offer the Dermafile Diamond Exfoliation an alternative to chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
Dermafile™ is a skin polishing and resurfacing tool made of
stainless steel and finely crushed cosmetic diamonds. This file will
lightly polish the skin by hand, removing the top layer of dead skin
cells, and leaving velvety smooth, fresh, rejuvenated skin.
Dermafile™ is a very effective tool for treating aging and sun
damaged skin, scars, acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks,
fine lines and enlarged and clogged pores. It will also smooth rough
calloused skin anywhere on the body.

Dermafile is safe for most skin, however its not recommended for active acne. (Please ask about acne treatments that include Blue LED Light Therapy and Ultrasonic exfoliation as an alternative) Please note some people may experience some redness, flaking and peeling after the procedure. As with any exfoliation it is extremely important to protect your skin in the sun as you will be photosensitive and more likely to burn afterwards. If you’ve recently had a chemical peel, laser, microdermabrasion, or another form of exfoliation, or if you are on certain types of medicine, Dermafile exfoliation may not be appropriate for you at this time.
