Zen Body & Skin in Henderson, NV offers a wide range of therapeutic massages, including specialized sessions focused on the neck, face, scalp, and buccal areas. I also provide Eastern-inspired treatments and rituals, including the Ayurveda Infusion Massage, Thai Herbal Poultice, and the Self-Love Massage & Gua Sha package.
For most massage services, you may request a heated infrared crystal mat, hot stones on the back, aromatherapy, warm towels for the feet, and dry brushing at no extra charge. Extra time can be added at the end for Sound Therapy—an ideal way to soothe the nervous system and complete your session.
All massage services are performed by a licensed professional.
Hypno-massage combines a relaxing massage alongside the life-changing benefits of hypnosis.
While receiving your full-body massage you’ll be slowly coaxed into a deeply relaxed trance-like state by a certified hypnotherapist. The goal is to create mind-body connections, relieve chronic pain, and release tension and trapped emotions.
Therapeutic Massage
My most requested massage service. This relaxation massage is a full body massage using light to firm pressure, focusing on relaxation, lengthening and stretching muscle tissue, and improving circulation.
If you’ve never had a massage before this is a great way to start! Easily customized to meet your specific needs.
Deep Tissue
A deeper massage aimed at loosening tight muscle and tissue and relieving trigger points (muscle knots).
A massage should never hurt or cause you to tense up. This can put your autonomic immune system into fight or flight mode or even cause injury. It’s important to listen to your body and communicate with your therapist if the pressure is causing discomfort.
Hot Stone
Heated stones are glided across the body, providing additional muscle relaxation, blood and lymph circulation, and detoxification.
The massage includes therapeutic massage techniques along with warm stones.
Warm Himalayan Salt Stone
Hand-carved Himalayan Salt Stones are designed to ground and balance the body’s electromagnetic field, central nervous system, and meridians.
Salt crystals from an ancient primal sea beneath the Himalayan Mountains gently soothe away an accumulation of stress, tension, and pollutants.
Aromatherapy Massage
Delight your senses and add additional therapeutic benefits to your massage. Essential oils can be selected to target your individual needs from relaxation, increased energy, stimulation of the immune system, or even weight loss and appetite control.
Your therapist will help you select the essential oils that is right for your specific needs.
Bamboo
Includes therapeutic massage strokes along with the soothing strokes of warm bamboo sticks. The massage itself promotes circulation, sensory nerve perception, and lymphatic drainage and provides a deep sense of relaxation and well-being.
Dynamic cupping uses silicone cups to provide a massage that ranges from gentle to deep. Unlike traditional cupping, the cups do not remain stagnant, and bruising is not typical. The cups are glided over the body.
Excellent for loosening stuck fascia, detoxification, lymphatic drainage, improved circulation, and the reduction of cellulite.
Thai Herbal Poultice
Thai herbal poultice massage is a unique massage that incorporates herbs sourced directly from small farms in Thailand. The herbs are wrapped in a muslin cloth creating a poultice. The poultice is steamed and applied to the body in various massage techniques.
The body treatment also includes aromatherapy massage, royal Thai massage (similar to acupressure), and may also have some gentle Thai stretching and Savitri breathing techniques.
Carefully selected oils infused with Ayurvedic herbs and essential oils are used on the body and face. Includes a relaxing Kansa wand facial massage, dry brushing, and Indian head massage.
Lypossage
Lypossage is a specialized type of massage aimed at reducing the look of cellulite, stimulating circulation and lymphatic flow, and breaking up fat. It is typically done on the upper legs and glutes. It can also be done on the abdominal, back, and upper arms.
This massage can be an add on to any type of massage you choose, and can be found in the cellulite, tone, and sculpt treatment. It combines well with dynamic cupping, dry brushing, and wood therapy.
Buccal (Inter-oral) Face Massage
Buccal massage is an inter-oral massage targeting the muscles of the lower face. It helps release muscle tension in the lower jaw.
This massage is helpful for people experiencing TMJ pain. It can also help lymphatic flow and circulation and reduce puffiness and fine lines in the lower part of the face.
